Treanor’s new brand and website recognized for excellence

Telling Treanor's story: architecture at the nexus of proficiency and possibility

In June of 2024, we proudly unveiled our new brand identity and website, a transformation that mirrors our dedication to designing a world that is equitable, sustainable, and healthy. Launched on our annual Day of Giving, this rebranding marked the culmination of years of focused, passionate work by our strategic planning leadership and marketing team to tell Treanor’s story in a way that authentically resonates with our values and our vision.

Treanor’s work surrounding the rebrand has been recognized with a total of eight prestigious awards that underscore the success of this ambitious project. Treanor’s new website won a Best in Category Horizon Interactive Award, a Gold W3 Award, and a MarCom Honorable Mention Award. These awards honor exceptional achievements in website design, branding, and communication, reflecting Treanor’s pursuit of excellence and innovation in architecture and professional services marketing.

Treanor’s comprehensive rebrand was awarded with a Marketing Communications Award from SMPS National—the longest-standing awards competition in the country recognizing excellence in marketing communications for AEC industry firms. Along with the rebrand, Treanor’s brand rollout campaign and brand film were also awarded Marketing Communications Awards from the Kansas City chapter of SMPS, including Best in Show, which recognizes the top-performing entry of the submission year.

Treanor partnered with strategic brand communications firm Substance151 on this effort.

The project began with a clear mission: to create a brand identity and website that captures Treanor’s commitment to growth, creativity, and excellence. Our marketing team rose to the challenge, navigating evolving requirements, tight deadlines, and endless feedback to develop a fresh, forward-looking brand that aligns with Treanor’s core values—Listen, learn, lead; Be humble, laugh together; Be true; and Explore the extraordinary. Every element of the new brand and website was crafted to reflect our culture of humility, humor, and innovation.

Throughout the project, the team remained adaptable, flexing around staff workloads, planning sessions, and delivering creative solutions at every turn. Our efforts culminated in a cohesive brand launch that empowers all of Treanor to reach further in our interactions with clients, partners, and communities.

These awards confirm the strength of our transformation, a success in creating a powerful platform for our story, and the incredible stories of the clients we work with. We’re excited to see how our new brand propels us forward as we continue to push the boundaries of what architecture and design can achieve.
