Position summary

Treanor is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented BIM Coordinator to support the delivery of architectural projects through effective model management, coordination, and collaboration. The ideal candidate has hands-on architectural project experience and a strong working knowledge of BIM-based workflows, with a focus on day-to-day project execution.

The BIM Coordinator is embedded within the architectural practice and supports one or more active projects depending on scale and complexity. This position partners closely with Project Architects, Project Managers, consultants, and contractors to ensure BIM workflows are aligned with project goals, schedules, and deliverables. The role also collaborates with Treanor’s Design Technology Team for advanced technical support, standards alignment, and workflow development when needed.

Treanor offers a hybrid work model, with employees working in the office 3 days a week and allowing the flexibility to work somewhere other than the office 2 days a week.

Treanor is committed to equitable compensation practices. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, degree, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. The anticipated salary range for candidates meeting the stated requirements is $60,000 – 100,000 and will vary by the states we operate in.

Primary responsibilities

Project-Specific Responsibilities
  • Support and manage architectural Revit models throughout all phases of design and documentation.
  • Assist with initial project BIM setup, including Revit models and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) environments.
  • Implement and follow project-specific BIM Execution Plans and coordination protocols.
  • Coordinate model exchanges, linking, and publishing workflows with consultants and contractors.
  • Perform model coordination and clash detection using ACC Model Coordination and related tools.
  • Track, communicate, and assist in resolving coordination issues with the project team.
  • Maintain model organization, performance, and overall model health.
  • Support the production of drawings, schedules, and other BIM-derived deliverables.
  • Participate in consultant and coordination meetings as needed to support BIM-related efforts.
Collaboration & Support
  • Serve as the primary project-level BIM point of contact for the architectural team.
  • Work closely with Project Architects and Project Managers to align BIM workflows with project schedules and deliverables.
  • Support client BIM requirements and data deliverables as defined by the project.
  • Coordinate with the Design Technology Team for advanced troubleshooting, standards clarification, or workflow support as required.
Quality Control
  • Perform ongoing model QA/QC reviews to support accuracy, consistency, and project standards.
  • Help ensure project teams follow agreed-upon modeling practices and coordination workflows.
  • Assist with documentation of project-specific BIM processes and lessons learned.

Position requirements

  • Professional degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–8 years of experience working on architectural projects using BIM in a professional practice environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM Collaborate Pro, and Model Coordination workflows.
  • Understanding of architectural project delivery processes and documentation standards.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with digital collaboration environments.
  • Experience coordinating BIM models with multiple consultants and disciplines.
  • Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, SketchUp, and related coordination or review platforms.
  • Experience supporting BIM Execution Plans and coordination meetings.
