Jeff was one of those kids who always took things apart to see how they worked. It was this obsession that pushed him to study architecture. Now a Principal in our Higher Education studio, he uses his problem-solving skills to lead teams as they deliver exceptional college and university projects.

With more than 25 years of experience in higher education projects, he is a skilled manager who coordinates our team’s efforts to produce comprehensive project documents. He is also a proven professional who handles myriad day-to-day tasks and works effectively to allocate team resources throughout each phase.

Jeff worked as a sous chef to help pay for college and even considered attending culinary school but decided to stay the course and finish his architecture degree. To this day, he thoroughly enjoys cooking for his family and friends. He also spends much of his free time helping his children continue to pursue their dreams of continuing to play the sport that they love—hockey.

Get to know Jeff

What is your favorite building or landmark?

The Sagrada Família. The size and duration of construction that spanned modern lifetimes is amazing to me. I visited nearly 25 years ago and hope to make it back to see the progress.

What is your advice to young professionals in your field?

Listen to what is happening around you in the office. The knowledge that can be gained by listening to your colleagues interact with owners, contractors, and other professionals is invaluable.
