Treanor Welcomes Erin Joseph Machac as Higher Education Principal in Houston

Expanding Texas reach with Houston presence

Treanor today announced that Erin Joseph Machac is joining the firm as a principal in its Higher Education design studio. His Houston location strategically positions Treanor to expand its client base in Texas, which is a firmwide strategic market focus.

Erin brings 25 years of experience managing education projects, project teams, and leading business development efforts. He has managed multi-disciplinary studios dedicated to education of all types, coordinating two firms’ regional and overall efforts within higher education. Erin has extensive experience with a variety of project types, including academics, administration, housing, labs/research, sports, and health sciences.

About Erin

Erin brings a passion for higher education architecture and working with clients that are dedicated to the growth and success of their students. He has been involved with projects for every University System in Texas on more than 25 campuses. His most recent projects are for the Texas A&M University System, the University of North Texas in Denton, Purdue University, Texas Southern University, and the University of Texas at Austin. Erin focuses on client-centered delivery and cost-effective solutions, building relationships with clients, consulting engineers, construction managers, HUB/MWBE partners, and peer design firms in order to advance how we work, learn, and experience education and wellbeing in our environments.
