Hamzah Basurrah

Hamzah studied engineering for two years before he discovered the art and science of architecture. As a designer with our Health studio, Hamzah works exclusively on healthcare projects. He particularly enjoys providing construction administration services. Hamzah has also volunteered as an intern ambassador at the San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association (SPUR), which is a think tank focused on urban policy in the San Francisco Bay area.

So far, one of Hamzah’s favorite projects he’s worked on is the Chinese Hospital in San Francisco. He appreciates the complexity of the electrical and mechanical systems projects, which have been under construction in intervals since 2017. He also enjoyed his first experience serving as a project manager on a Fluoroscopy GI project at Stanford Health Care.
