LawrenceAt a young age, Joe had the opportunity to visit his family in Italy and explore Rome’s classic and ancient architecture. This experience transformed his interest into a professional choice of architecture, which he has practiced since 1994.
A respected leader in the Higher Education studio, Joe has planned, programmed, and designed higher education facilities for most of his career. He focuses his talents on designs meant to enhance student success. Joe leverages his experience to guard quality and ensure consistency across all aspects of new construction, renovations, and additions.
One of his career highlights was being part of the Treanor team that won an international design competition for Hamid bin Khalifa University Student Housing projects in Doha, Qatar. He managed the project from concept through completion. Joe enjoys celebrating the successes of each project with his clients in their new facilities, as well as the satisfaction of a job well-done by his teams.

What is the best part of your job?
The enthusiasm and enjoyment of our clients and students experiencing their new facilities on campus, along with watching our teams enjoy the success of a job well done.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy watching my last kid compete in sports, watching baseball, football, and college basketball. I also like hunting and traveling to new places and have been fortunate to visit, study, and work globally.
