PhoenixKrishna’s journey into the design world began in Northern California’s Bay Area, where she developed a deep fascination for the built environment. From an early age, she was keenly aware of her surroundings and how they influenced her feelings and experiences. This sensitivity to the environment led her to experiment with space, changing the elements around her to create a new experience. This early passion laid the foundation for her future interior design and architecture career.
As a designer in the Higher Education studio, Krishna’s education and experience in both architecture and interior design add immense value to projects as these two fields of practice naturally coalesce to create harmonious spaces. She has worked across many building types and now focuses on higher education projects, skillfully managing complex programs for student spaces. A keen focus on aesthetics and thoughtful consideration of human experience and user engagement characterizes her work. This unique blend of skills has positioned her as a leader in creating dynamic and engaging environments.
Her notable projects include the Institute for Health Disparities Renovation at the University of North Texas at Fort Worth’s Health Science Center, the new building for the Advanced Manufacturing and Aerospace Center at the University of Texas at El Paso, and the renovation at the Interdisciplinary Research and Education Building at the University of North Texas at Fort Worth’s Health Science Center.
