Tanyaradzwa (Tanya) Magadzire

Tanya, originally from Zimbabwe, has always been deeply connected to the design field. Her passion led her to Boston, where she earned her undergraduate degree in architecture and then to San Antonio, where she completed her master’s degree in architecture. Drawn to the dynamic opportunities in Dallas and Treanor’s opportunity for professional growth, she made the exciting move to North Texas.

As an architectural designer in the Higher Education studio, Tanya’s work is fueled by her love for design process and her eagerness to explore new design possibilities. Her innovative and creative design solutions stand as an opportunity to blend functionality with artistic expression. Her industry experience includes various architectural skills, including design- development, visualization and construction documentation. Tanya is experienced in developing and continuing the advancement of our live Revit models and produces graphics that allow users and stakeholders to visualize all the spaces in the building.

Her notable projects include the University of Texas Health San Antonio Science One – Addition to the Barshop Institute and Medical Education and Training Building Renovation and the University of North Texas Health Science Center Gibson Library Renovation.

When she’s not working, Tanya enjoys doing a variety of creative activities, including painting, making furniture from scratch and refurbishing antiques. Her bucket list includes camping out and seeing the northern lights.
