DenverSammy works with Treanor’s Advanced Industries team in Denver, helping design environments where the world’s most advanced ideas come to life. His journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where he discovered his passion for design that endures and inspires progress.
Sammy has immersed himself in architecture through hands-on internships in high school and college, developing strong design and modeling skills in Rhino and SketchUp. Now with a Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis, Sammy’s work reflects a curiosity for how architecture can push industries forward by integrating research, technology, and human experience into every solution.
After making the cross-country move from the Washington, D.C. metro area, Sammy quickly embraced the Colorado lifestyle. When he’s not at work, you’ll find him exploring mountain bike trails, skiing, whitewater kayaking, or sampling local craft brews.

What is on your bucket list?
To hike every “Fourteener” in Colorado and to design my own house.
Who is your biggest hero?
Hayao Miyazaki. He has made a career out of his art that makes the world a better place
What is the best part of your job?
Designing spaces that haven’t been designed before. Many of our projects in the Advanced Industries studio are for companies that are pushing the boundaries of their fields.
We get to be part of this exploration by designing the spaces where this cutting-edge technology will be developed and tested. We are not just designing buildings, we are shaping the future.
