BIM Manager
Position summary
Treanor is seeking a BIM Manager to provide firmwide and project-level leadership in design technology, with a primary focus on Building Information Modeling (BIM) and related digital workflows. The BIM Manager supports architectural staff through the effective use of tools, standards, and processes that improve project delivery, coordination, and quality.
This role works closely with architectural project teams and Technology leadership to support consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement in how digital tools are applied across the firm. The position reports to the Director of Technology and is based in Treanor’s Kansas City or Denver office.
The ideal candidate brings a strong architectural or engineering background, deep project experience, and a practical understanding of how design technology supports real-world project delivery. They are service-oriented, technically confident, and comfortable balancing hands-on project support with firmwide initiatives.
Treanor offers a hybrid work model, with employees working in the office 3 days a week and allowing the flexibility to work somewhere other than the office 2 days a week.

Treanor is committed to equitable compensation practices. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, degree, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. The anticipated salary range for candidates meeting the stated requirements is $90,000 – 115,000 and will vary by the states we operate in.
Primary responsibilities
Project Support and Delivery
- Support project teams with BIM project setup and configuration using Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro.
- Assist in the development and implementation of BIM execution strategies, including coordination practices and Level of Development.
- Support project kick-offs and consultant coordination, including use of Model Coordination workflows.
- Provide technical support for BIM tools, workflows, and model coordination processes.
- Monitor and promote model health, including troubleshooting, model management, and maintenance.
- Perform periodic model quality reviews to support project standards and consistency.
- Support onboarding and training of project teams to promote increasing self-sufficiency.
- Identify and implement opportunities for workflow efficiency, automation, and use of Revit add-ins where appropriate.
Firmwide Standards and Tools
- Maintain and evolve firmwide BIM standards, templates, and core project resources.
- Support development and curation of shared Revit content, including families and libraries.
- Serve as an administrator for Autodesk Construction Cloud, including BIM Collaborate Pro and Model Coordination.
- Support use and evaluation of Revit add-ins, visualization tools, and related design technology platforms.
- Coordinate with Information Technology staff on software configuration, updates, and tool support.
- Engage external vendors and consultants as needed to support design technology initiatives.
Training and Enablement
- Provide hands-on, task-focused training and support to architectural staff as needs arise.
- Deliver periodic firmwide training on standards, tools, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain clear, practical documentation to support consistent digital workflows.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with evolving BIM, visualization, and design technology trends.
- Evaluate new tools and workflows for applicability to architectural project delivery.
- Maintain familiarity with emerging AI-assisted and generative design platforms and assess their potential use.
- Collaborate with leadership and project teams to introduce new capabilities that improve efficiency, coordination, or quality.

Position requirements
- Professional degree in Architecture or Engineering required.
- 10–15 years of experience working on architectural projects in a professional practice environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting BIM and digital workflows on active projects.
- Advanced working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro.
- Familiarity with Model Coordination workflows and cloud-based collaboration.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp, and common visualization tools like Enscape and Twinmotion.
- Experience with Revit add-ins and an interest in emerging AI-based design technologies.
- Strong understanding of architectural project delivery, coordination, and documentation workflows.
