Carly Temming

Carly is an architectural designer with our Historic Preservation team. A Topeka native, Carly has always had a natural curiosity about how things work and a passion for creative problem-solving. This curiosity led her to Kansas State University, where she earned a Master of Architecture and a Minor in Leadership Studies, combining her technical expertise with a commitment to impactful, community-focused design.

Carly is drawn to preservation architecture for its unique ability to enhance community identity and promote sustainability. She believes that every historical building holds stories that deserve to be protected and shared, and she’s excited to be part of projects that foster a sense of continuity and belonging. Carly sees architecture as a powerful tool for shaping mental and environmental well-being, balancing technical challenges with meaningful, human-centered design.
