Danielle strongly believes in strengthening and enhancing communities through architectural design that fosters creativity and togetherness. She has worked on many addition and renovation projects as part of the PK-12 Education studio and brings sustainable design solutions that not only positively affect students and instructors but also reduce the built environment’s impact on nature.

She represents the PK-12 Education studio within the firm’s sustainability committee, which helps her view projects through the eyes of Colorado’s youth to design spaces that are as healthy and environmentally friendly as they are educational and exciting.

Danielle has had a passion for sustainable design strategies for a long time, and the highlight of her academic program at the University of Kansas was designing and building a LEED Platinum Certified house with her classmates in Lawrence, Kansas.

Now living in Colorado, she enjoys hiking, camping, rafting, and occasionally attempting to rock climb. She also loves a “night in” and is always up for a game, trivia, or movie night. She’s a mean Treanor summer league volleyball player, too.

Get to know Danielle

What is on your bucket list?

Visiting all 50 states, all 63 American National Parks, and all seven continents. I’ve got a long way to go, but I’ve made the biggest dent in states: I’ve visited 26 so far.

What is the best part of your job?

I love working with school districts. Helping these communities get the resources and state-of-the-art buildings they deserve is so rewarding.

Who is your biggest hero?

My mom. She’s the strongest, smartest, and most selfless person I’ve ever known and she’s an inspiration for who I want to be in life.
