Josh Chandler

As a member of our PK–12 Education studio, Josh takes pride in truly listening to students, educators, and community stakeholders to shape learning environments that are as adaptable as they are inspiring. He believes that great design starts with empathy—and that school spaces should evolve alongside the changing needs of students and staff. Whether designing a flexible learning hub or reimagining a traditional classroom layout, Josh brings curiosity, creativity, and technical expertise to every project. His thoughtful approach ensures that each space not only functions well today but also remains relevant and impactful for years to come.

Josh has served part-time in the Colorado National Guard since 2012. He recently returned from a year-long deployment in Kuwait, where he served as team leader for an Army Space Support Team. He brings valuable insight from his military experience to his architectural practice—especially in managing complex coordination, logistics, and leadership under pressure—skills that translate seamlessly to the fast-paced world of educational design and construction.

His passions outside of work are as varied as his design portfolio. As a lifelong learner, Josh pursues personal and professional growth through leadership podcasts and is currently pursuing a yoga instructor certification. A true Colorado local, he enjoys concerts, especially with friends at Red Rocks, and loves to ski in the winter.
