Nadia’s journey into architecture began during her undergraduate studies in biology, where an enlightening seminar on solar energy in New Mexico prompted a pivotal shift in her academic focus. This shift was driven by her appreciation for architecture’s unique integration of multiple disciplines—including art, science, physics, history, psychology, and sociology.

Dedicated to her career in higher education planning, programming, and design, Nadia specializes in higher education architecture that forges meaningful connections between people and their surroundings. Her approach is underpinned by a firm belief in the transformative power of architecture to enhance social and academic environments. Her designs are informed by an understanding of the dynamic interactions between architectural spaces and student outcomes, emphasizing the profound impact of these environments on personal, social, and academic success.

Nadia’s research contributions have been recognized with three Certificate of Research Excellence (CORE) awards from the Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA). Her expertise in stakeholder engagement has been pivotal in achieving consensus in the complex, multi-dimensional settings typical of academic campuses.
