Sun always wanted to be an architect. Born and raised in Seoul for three decades, she moved to Kansas when her husband relocated for military service. It was a huge transition from the big city surrounded by skyscrapers to a massive cornfield and wind.

She has always aspired to make meaningful architecture that affects people in their daily lives. Creating a better place for the public is a vital mission for an architect. Being a part of the Justice studio has been an incredible journey as she approaches her role as a civil servant. She is making a better environment for the underserved population.

When not working, she enjoys reading, cooking, or baking. She lives with two extrovert men (her husband and son) and three super-friendly felines (Dumpling, Soy Sauce, and Gimbob). She also enjoys traveling and wandering through cities.
