John Fuentes

John’s more than 35 years of experience spans time, markets, and responsibilities, which means he’s mastered many design capabilities that benefit Treanor’s PK-12 Education studio clients. His experience in markets such as K-12, higher education, public buildings, and medical facilities helps him identify solutions based on a broad range of skillsets gained and challenges overcome.

He has worked through many design phases, from master planning through construction completion, and brings valuable insights that lead to better project outcomes. He understands the challenges and opportunities in construction documentation, detailing, specification writing, and building permit coordination.

His day-to-day project responsibilities encompass kick-off through grand opening, including client/contractor contact, quality control/quality assurance, document development from schematic design through final construction documents, and leading construction administration to final completion.

John is as close as possible to being a Colorado native without being born here; he was a 10-month-old infant when his family moved here from Florida. He met his wife in high school; they married two years after graduation and have two sons.
