Building a strong foundation for future generations
Our team designed a new, two-story fraternity house for Pi Kappa Phi at the University of Florida. The original house, which was constructed in 1962 and designed by architect Paul Rudolph, had undergone an addition in 1985 that took away from the original character of the house.
The first floor of the new Greek revival-style house features a dining room that seats 100, recreation room, alumni library, study area and a house director’s suite. The unique 46-bedroom layout features suites with private rooms and shared living spaces. The suites also consist of groupings of two to five private rooms that are connected by a common living area. The design also includes a large back porch overlooking a yard and basketball court.
